Scott Carey, HLTH 334: The Politics of Health and Illness
This winter semester Scott is teaching HLTH 334, The Politics of Health and Illness, in the School of Kinesiology & Health Studies. This course seeks to introduce students to the work of Michel Foucault as a means to critically think about the contemporary discourses (e.g. biomedical, psychological, neoliberal, etc.) that shape our experience of health and illness.
